Finally Getting Promoted In Zynga Poker!

When playing Zynga Poker you are shunted into a tier.  I don't know if I've got this right, but I think there are five classes, and within each class there are five levels, I being the lowest, V the highest.

Ever since I got sucked into playing Zynga Poker, I have been in Rookie, the bottom class.  Once I started caring enough to play on a regular basis, I have been bouncing down to IV but keeping it at V more and more often.  But I just couldn't break through past Rookie V.  To do that, you have to win a lot of money.  Once Sunday at 7 p.m. rolls around, the ten players in Rookie V with the most winnings that week graduate to the next level, whatever that is.

Well dang it, I finally did overnight!  I have broken past Rookie V and I now am ... Pro Class I!  How did I do it?  The only way you can, I think: I got a lot of good poker hands, and there was another guy (or another bot) who was willing to bet oodles of money, and I just won it all.  That happened, I think, overnight Thursday/Friday.  How did I fall into this intersection of luck I don't know, but I finally got see what happens when you get promoted past this.

So, what does it mean?  More money they give you and stuff, that's all.  And I'm sure I will fall back to Rookie V.  Heck, I may not reach Pro Class ever again.  But at least I got to be there, just this one time!
