CBS Is Cancelling The Late Show With Stephen Colbert

That is some bullshit.  Don't care how it's expensive to produce a late-night show.  This is political.  CBS and Paramount are in the middle of closing a merger deal, and they Trump's blessing.  Moreover, the bigwigs with Paramount (CBS's parent company) have caved to Trump before in settling a lawsuit he filed against them for, of all things, a 60 Minutes interview of Kamala Harris he didn't like.  He has no goddamn standing suing a television show that he wasn't on, and CBS gave him money anyway.

This goes beyond a shakedown, or even kissing the ass.  People want this merger to go through, Trump says he wants Colbert gone, and they say OK.  Simple as that, and you won't make me believe otherwise.

Yeah, we don't live in a free country anymore.  Fuck all this.
