It might be so late as to be irrelevant to note now that my parents are home, but I finished all of the food they left for me, the last being an apple turnover I ate at work, about 2 1/2 weeks before they got home.  It would have been slightly humiliating to still have food when they came home, so I dodged a bullet there.
