I read online Sunday that you should give your references a head's-up that you listed them as a reference. I did that last (Tuesday) night, to my former boss. She seemed cool. However, it also was a surprise to her.
Meaning? Well, I had my interview Monday. It appears as though no one from the company called her about me as of Tuesday night. Now, if they really liked me and wanted me for the job, wouldn't they have called all the references, like, immediately.
It looks like they didn't. Which means only one thing: I've been rejected for that job.
Fuck.

It's the second week of the night scoring project. Supposed to be the first "real" week, where we're actually scoring real essays, but that hasn't come around yet because they're, like, not scanned in or something.
This week I noticed something: Every person I have worked with in scoring projects in the past, with this company, are now here in this project in some leadership capacity. Every one. Except me. Well, OK, maybe not every one. But almost every one. And every one that's not old.
Seriously, how could I screw up so badly that I didn't even notice? Also: Did I really screw up this badly?
