One of the things I wanted to do on this trip is to talk to my friend, who I am staying with. Had a great convo just now, catching up on things, talking about stuff.
We are both in what we both call a holding pattern, at least when it comes to our careers and ambitions, right now. We had no breakthroughs or anything, but we both came to a conclusion, maybe one we have realized for a long time now: Not making a choice is a choice. It's not a bad thing; we both have reasons for what we did or did not do. But not making a choice is a choice, and we feel bad about it until we don't.
This has been philosophy talk.
