Still coming down from the event yesterday.  It went well.  Splendidly, even.  But I saw ... well, heard something that I really didn't want to hear, and something that was unfortunate to witness and overhear during the event.  Saw/heard it and chills went up my spine.  Reminds me of my family, and my childhood, and my adulthood.

Think I have to leave it at that.
