Ice Out!
Just wanted to note that yesterday, Wednesday, April 9, was the day there finally was no snow on our front yard. (Always wanted to note that somewhere, never did till now.) There is some snow left next to the side of the house to the north; that's where the sun beats down on it in the morning, when it's coldest, and by the time the sun is at its strongest, it's sending its beams at the south side of the house. But I looked at it through the fence after coming home from work and the sun nevertheless put a pounding on it over the course of today, so there is a lot less of it today than when I looked at it yesterday, Wednesday, April 9.
