But dammit, the clouds thinned and in the afternoon, the sun poked through. Seriously, the weather and sky and Mother Nature can't do that. You're either giving us a thunderstorm or sun. You cannot give us both types of weather on the same bleepin' day. That ain't right.

No, Mother Nature, You Can't Do That
This morning I drove to work through a torrential downpour, first time I've done that this year, and maybe in a while. It was black as night through much of the morning. No way I thought the meteorologists could be right last night in saying we could have sun by the afternoon -- right?
