There might have been a time in my childhood I was coughing and groggy. That might have been the time where I got hepatitis, I don't know. But for the coughing alone, which I've had for about a month, this feels as though this is the sickest I've ever been.
And I have no proof that this is the reason, but I have never felt great about waking up at 5:30 in the goddamn morning. I'm not saying it's making me sick, but if I want to get better, sleep is an effective medicine, and frankly, forcing myself to get up at this ungodly hour cuts into sleep that my body needs to fight whatever the hell it needs to fight.
Off to work, goddammit.
