In the past 24 hours I have learned through Facebook that two members of the alumni club I run are leaving to take new jobs elsewhere -- one to Chicago, the other to San Francisco.
I wish them well, and change is inevitable, especially in these cases where it's leading to bigger and better things. But we could use all the support we can get now, and even though it was only some of the time, they showed up. With them gone, well ... I don't know what I'm going to do.
